Domaine de Durban Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise 2004 – Wine Review

This delightful dessert wine comes from the Rhône Valley of France, and Beaumes-de-Venise is the original name of a village of the Côtes-du-Rhône in the north of Carpentras.
On the nose are wonderful aromas of fresh peaches, mangos, and other exotic tropical fruits. On the palate the deep tropical flavors are present, with a delightful warming presence. This is a well balanced dessert wine, and is great as an aperitif, or as an after dinner beverage.
